Umbralyte - First Phase

Umbralyte is a first-person shooter roguelike that puts you in the middle of a war between the gods. Featured here is the “First Phase” of this project, a prototype of what’s to come. 

Take control of Sosk, god of the moon whose place among the other gods has been usurped by Arix, god of the sun. You have been cast down, your powers stripped, and your weakness laughed at. But, by collecting the relics of other gods and legends of the world, you may find your power once more. Will Arix laugh over your defeat again or will you vanquish him and reclaim your rightful place?

Control scheme:

• WASD - Move
• Left Click - Shoot
• Spacebar - Jump
• F - Pickup Weapon
• Scroll Wheel - Swap Weapon
• Q - Eclipse Mode
• Left Shift - Dash
• Escape - Quit Game

Fight with a variety of weapons, including:

• Beam - giant laser beam
• Double - a faster single!
• Dual - dual wielded machine pistols
• Missile - rocket launcher
• Single - single shot pistol
• Shotty - a classic shotgun
• Sniper - an assassin's favorite
• Staff - single shot magic item
• Wand - magic missile shooter

Shoot enemies for a chance to earn powerful relics:

• Armor of Elize Dargalyn - hitpoint increase
• Pouch of Norfyr - clip size increase
• Orb of Arix - critical strike damage increase
• Tooth of Syl'Raz - critical strike chance increase
• Hourglass of Raze - Eclipse mode length increase
• Feather of Sai'Nox - jump height increase
• Sandal of Elnoa - movement speed increase
• Quiver of Halborin - reload speed increase
• Coins of Those Who Came Before - score multiplier increase
